Some random studies...

So this semester, we are working on Codes. Yes. Codes. You know that one thing that you dread having to deal with in offices, but at least there you can rest easy knowing you are getting paid? But nope. I'm paying to do them here. Wonderful. The first half of the semester so far has been analyzing/ decoding existing cities/ projects. The only thing better than codes are prolonged precedent studies...

if i was a naked mole rat i would get all tan underarmour, and attach whiskers to my face and f---ing crawl around my labryinth like a fucking molerat eating insects and shit. raising a litter or twenty or so g-d--- kids in their private cave feeding them with postal stamps and f---ing rainboots or whatever the f--- molerats eat
definitely not carrots cause those motherf---ers are blind. my tunnel network would take me from f---ing kroger straight to class, then back to my s--- hot den, where i would f--- my hota-- naked molerat wife then f---ing impregnate her with like, f---ing 30 more kids digging more g--d--- caves and shit

third semester core final

So last week I had my final review for this project... A bit dissapointed all around. The review itself was a little tough and was extremely anti-climatic. Semester ended with a fizzle.... Somehow I feel a bit screwed reviewer-wise.

Here's a small snippet of our entry into the Visualization Marathon 2010 sponsored by Seed Magazine, GE, and the MoMa at the Eyebeam in New York. The Harvard team consisted of Judy Fulton, Wes Thomas, Lauren Kim, and myself. Our topic was to confront the impact of energy on the planet in some way... We chose to disseminate it and create a physical artifact that could be easily understood and interacted with by a child. The child creates a projected 3d model of various aspects of energy consumption, population, and carbon emission in arious parts of the world.
